So many people have talked about if Christmas is Christian or not. And I understand that certain scriptures can be interpreted in that way. But I have to disagree with this stand point.
Christmas is not pagan in my home. We put Christ into everything here so I sincerely believe it’s a wonderful family moment.
I plan on having a wonderful Christmas this year. Had a rather sad one last year because of people that I truly miss and are now in heaven.

9 Reasons Why Pink is Better than Red

I know that most people say that opinions aren’t arguable but I truly believe that pink is thousands of times better than red. I truly truly believe this.
Let me count the reasons why:
1 – Red brings this feeling of attention- there’s a problem!!!!! (sirens go off in my mind when I see red)
2 – Red reminds me of blood which is not pleasant at all
3 – Red reminds me of unbalanced passion which always leads to something negative simply because it’s unbalanced. Ok some may think that my passion for pink is unbalanced but it truly is not. It doesn’t cause me to do anythig bad to anyone and only brings out positive things.
4 – Red is the opposite of soothing – red is just plain stressful

Ok now let me state the reasons why I love pink:
1- Pink brings just enough passion to add some spice to life but not too much that you want to run off screaming like red does.
2 - Pink is girly and girls are so cool- if I may say so myself
3 – Pink reminds me of balanced love- like this unchanging warmth.
4- Pink is the color of fairies and wands and magical feelings.
5- There’s nothing prettier than decorating a room with balloons – as long as they are mostly pink- LOL
There are moments in life that red actually looks pretty like these wedding cakes with waterfalls
Let’s not forget that it’s not an everyday occurrence to be looking at waterfall wedding cakes. Plus the mixture of the red with the white takes off all the shocking effect of it so it’s all good.
Anyways – the photo on this post is from Sherry’s Collection she is one very cool and artistic woman- I love looking at her pink collections they are like therapy to me.

Dancing Color God and Beauty

In a world so filled with suffering I choose to focus on the positive on the good and on the beautiful.
I look at this image and so many feeling come by me- feelings of joy and of beauty and it’s on these feelings that I truly want to mediate on.
My niece does ballet- she is such a sweet spirit. A bit stubborn but just a total sweetheart.
Th first thing that comes to mind is my early reminiscing in dancing. Now that i believe in God. I love to worship God in dance.
Ballet is an art…. a form of expressing beautifully so many emotions. What better emotion than to praise God and please Him. People think of so many things but they forget to how to pray as a Christian, how to talk to God. To praise Him. Nothing better really.
So this image reminds me of the love I have for my niece , of my childhood and also of God our Creator and the time we will spend with Him in eternity listening to the most beautiful music.

Getting Inspired With All Things Pink for a Wonderful Tea Party

I absolutely love this mosaic. It summarizes all things beautiful and pink. I’m thinking of using ideas here to decorate my bedroom. Definitely will get inspired through this and create more and more beautiful things.  I also saw some ideas for  Christian homemaking that I’m seriously wanting to implement.

My friend is coming to town and I’m seriously thinking of having a tea party with her. The thing is that it will take time to plan the party.But I think it’s worth the work.

If we do have a tea party I want to make some lemonade with this recipe .
Also want to make this apple butterscotch delight and some hand made chocolate truffles too.
Anyways- back to the decor: the pink polka dots and the pink shoes are especially beautiful
I recently bought some pink strawberry shortcake decoratives for my niece. I think she will love it a lot.
I’m putting them all in a pink strawberry box and giving it to her for her birthday.
As soon as I get it all ready I’ll take a picture for y’all.
